Coven Anniversary Ball

I was hiding from the paps.
-takes off sunglasses, leaving his scarf on-
-looks at her apologetically, with a rueful smile-
I can't stay long.

-smiles, then stops moving as the song ends-
-opens his eyes, leaning back a little-
-lowers his hand from Martin's waist, his heart fluttering after the dance-

-Looks up at the ceiling-
It's just an amazing sound... But it's not just your laugh I like. It's the smile when you laugh. And the look in your eyes. And...
-Realises he's gotten carried away, clears his throat and looks down again-
...To be honest you'd find it difficult to find something I don't like.

-looks around, amused-
That's okay, looks like everyone's a bit busy anyway.
-glances at the clock-
I got time for one dance though...

The classic Pandora and Adam dance? We haven't had one in ages!
-leads him to the dancefloor as I have to go very soon D:-

-Notices the song already ended-
...I was barely paying attention to the music for a while there...

-leads him off and hands him a drink with a kiss on the cheeks-
-drinks half of his drink-

-laughs-

-picks his drink up again, taking a longer sip, finding it refreshing-
-finds the evening perfect so far-

-Sits down with Dawn, still holding her hand-
Oh- Do you want me to get you a drink? Or... Whatever it is people do at these things?
-Smiles at his own ignorance-

-smiles as he gets himself a drink-
-moves his glass so the liquid spins around a little, daydreaming to himself as he does so-
-loves it when Lestat winks at him-

-looks over at Armarius, smiling slightly-
-looks across the ballroom, thinking for a moment, sighing a little in thought-
-is thinking of the wedding, and of things he has organised, and other things he has yet to finish-
-tries not to show that he feels a little bit stressed out-
-takes a sip of the drink, savouring the flavour-
-lowers it just a little, before taking another-
-wants to just relax this evening-

Okay!
-Goes to stand up, realises he hasn't let go of Dawn's hand yet, hesitates, lets go and walks over to wherever it is the drinks are, picks up two, walks back to Dawn, gives her one-
I don't know what it is. But it's a drink.

-Smiles back at her, sitting down again, drinking his drink ludicrously quickly and putting the glass beside him on the floor-
